Apple Hill

I know I’ve posted about this before, but having just spent the weekend (okay, 2 weekends ago) with my granddaughters it’s on my mind, what a fun phase of life this is. We all (me, the Mr., the Mama, Shane & the babies) went to Apple Hill in Northern California this past weekend. Beautiful weather and wonderful pie and hot apple fritters but the best part of the day was frittering it away (pun intended) with the girls and their parents. We had a great ratio of 4 adults and 2 toddlers.

We played in the pumpkin patch, visited the craft booths, ate fritters and fed the animals in the petting zoo; except the bunnies who wouldn’t come out of their hutches, I think they were full. Taylor loved the goats and chickens but Molly was less than impressed since all she wanted to do was eat the animal feed, which we had to keep stopping her from putting it in her mouth.
