Mmmmmmmmmm Meatloaf
INGREDIENTS:
Meatloaf
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb lean ground pork
- 3/4 cup dry Italian bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 a finely diced onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 2 Tbsp dried parsley
Topping
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
Mix all ingredients for meatloaf together in a large bowl. The best way to do this is to get your hands dirty (Ugh, I know but it’s really the only way). So mix it thoroughly with both hands and form it into a loaf if it is too wet you can add more breadcrumbs until it forms a loaf – try not to add to much though it can make it dry.
Cook at 350* in a vegetable spray coated 8x4x2 pan for 60 minutes then open oven and spread topping over loaf continue to cook another 15 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted near the center reads at least 160*.
In the pictures here I’m showing you my fabulous “As seen on TV” meatloaf pan. My husband loves my meatloaf and thought I had to have this pan. Gotta say it does work. My man, he really spoils me ;0)

Everybody has a version of meatloaf but this one is yummy with the sage and the topping, give it a try.
Hope you love it!
