Happy Falloween

{Written by: Jen}

I’m a little behind on my crafts and baking while we’ve been busy with the kids trying to create our own little family fall traditions so I thought I would share with you what we have been up to.

2 weekends ago we visited our local pumpkin patch. It was tons of fun, lots of pumpkins, optional hay ride and corn maze, and some penned up animals to observe.

Taylor was just checking things out, she was a little timid.

Shane and Molly were having a blast.

This past weekend we visited Apple Hill in Camino, CA. That was fun, kind of a handful with two young kids and so many people, but overall fun (I’ll post pictures as soon as I get them off the camera, in the meantime, please enjoy the one I did take on my phone of the pretty drive back home to Carson City).

Last night I decided we should probably decorate pumpkins, we’ve skipped out on carving for the last couple of years with our kids being too young, but this year seemed perfect to do pumpkin painting. As you can tell from the pictures below, Taylor loved it. She’s 2 1/2 and just the right age for this. Molly, she could care less, she just wanted to eat the stem of the pumpkin. Her project resulted in tears and eventually playing with a plastic cup on the floor instead (much to her cute amusement).

Anyway, nothing too exciting, just normal family with kids stuff. I hope you have a safe and happy fall and Halloween!
