Oreo Pudding Poke Cake

This was such a super simple, super tasty, super impressive recipe. You pick any box cake mix you like. Bake as directed. Just before the cake is done baking mix two 4 ounce boxes of instant pudding any flavor with 4 cups of 2% or higher milk. When the cake comes out of the oven, still warm, poke holes all the way through the cake about every inch across using the end of a wooden spoon or other utensil. Then pour the pudding over  and smooth with a spatula. Place in the fridge to finish cooling and to store. Serve with thawed cool whip if desired.

I chose devil’s food cake with Oreo pudding. I also crumbled mini oreos on top of the cake after it cooled.

It came out really rich, but that didn’t keep me from eating 2 pieces. The cake comes out so moist and cold and delicious. Yummmm. The flavor combinations are endless.
