I’ve had this birdcage/feeder hanging out in the backyard for years with a small potted plant in it hanging from our overhead. It was a find from a salvage store in North Caroline, sorry I can’t remember which one. Years later and countless hours on Pinterest I thought, Hey! I can repurpose that thing into something shabby/industrial chic.
I fitted a simple light kit to the cage with a small flame candle. From there I added found buttons and glass crystals that I ordered online [On Ebay from seller citi65], strung from wire. I kept adding more until I felt it was complete.
That simple, that inexpensive, that wonderful new light hanging above my bed.
